The ESC3–SL by siliXcon is the motor controller used in Kalk and Osa.

¶ Firmware
Osa and Kalk both use this siliXcon controller. However, instead of the standard siliXcon firmware (LYNX) being installed, each bike has a custom CAKE-developed firmware variant installed which is specific to each model of bike. CAKE firmware has only limited subset configurable parameters compared to the siliXcon firmware, and it don't quite align with the siliXcon documentation.
With the help of siliXcon support, the standard (non-CAKE) siliXcon firmware can be installed on the controller, but custom CAKE functionality and integration with other components (such as the display) will be lost (sources: 1, 2, 3).
